As my spouse and I were driving throughout Ontario recently, we were admiring the colours of the leaves and appreciating the changing of the season. We passed a sign that said “Don’t just fly, soar” and that really stuck with me. As autumn is my favourite time of year, I have always been more reflective in the fall and that sign was like a huge ‘lightbulb moment’.
Where am I selling myself short and not aiming to soar higher? What I realized is that while I am challenging myself, I also have so many more great heights to shoot for. At the same time, my spouse asked me when I was going to start a podcast. I hadn’t even thought of that. In that moment, I realized I was not soaring. I was barely even flying. I ask my clients to think big and be big and yet, I was not practicing it myself.
What assumptions and judgements are you making about yourself and your life?
What barriers are you putting up? What would it give you to not just fly through life but to actually SOAR???
Let’s strap some wings on, create a life that makes you feel like you can take on the world. A life that inspires you, fulfills you and allows you to be the best version of yourself, each and every day.
SOAR is an acronym for Situation, Opportunity, Action, Result.
So, where do you want to SOAR?
